Radar Detector

I've taken in consideration the following brands and models, after carefully analysing the reviews and technical specs:

The Beltronics STi Driver (http://www.beltronics.com/):

The Escort Passport 8500 (http://www.escortradar.com)

And to complete the detection series (http://www.valentine1.com/)

Next, pay attention for the filming and cameras! Cheers!

IT

Yup, now for the IT region of the utilities!

Needing we'll be a set of digital cameras:

- Sony CyberShot W100

Small, compact, in-your-pocket for every occasion! ;-) Who knows?

Then, for something more powerful, the Canon EOS 400D

For each camera 3 cards 4GB's Each! ;-)

Two Lap Top's - This Kind [Sony Vaio]

Add a 3G Access Card from Vodafone... And We're OFF!!!!

Mapping

Well... GumBall it's a Rally, not a race! But even so, It's better not to get lost ;-)

And for that, help will be needed from some GPS friends. It's better to take three or four and then one replacement in the trunk, for each, of course... just in case.

#1 TOM TOM (http://www.tomtom.com)

The best is to take the GO 910!

#2 GARMIN (http://www.garmin.com)

And the StreetPilot 7500

#3 Magellan (http://www.magellan.com)

Maestro 4050

#4 CoPilot (http://www.alk.com/copilot/laptop.asp)

Yes, that's it, the CoPilot Live Laptop 10 Bluetooth will enable LapTop integration and larger visibility for when on the road, and excellent detail. Ok, so with these systems we won't get lost!

... Start your Engines...

Hi,

First, to understand the rally you can have a peak at http://www.gumball3000.com/. In 2008, the journey will comprehend New York to Tokyo... Exciting!

But for a start, we need a car...
That's right...

Or better yet... Let's make a team... Two Cars... You with one, me in another... Excellent!!!.... I took the liberty to compose the following list:

- Merc SLR

- Porsche 911 Turbo

- Bugatti Veyron

- Bentley Continental GT

- Porsche Cayenne Turbo S

- Lambo Murcielago LP 640

- Ferrari Enzo

- Pagani Zonda

It would be rather preferable that, as a team, we would both run on the same car, but it's not mandatory ;-)

In future posting's I'll be adding some interesting "gizmos" for the road!

Cheers Mate!
